I must admit that I was reluctant to come to Senior Day Activities. What I didn't know was that there's always something to do: musicians, knowledgeable speakers, art projects, and lively discussions. I would recommend Senior Day Activities to anyone wanting to broaden their horizons."
~ James Cetta
Activities
The Council on Aging's senior day programs offer isolated seniors an opportunity to gather for meals, exercise, entertainment, and--most important of all--companionship. They also provide a needed respite for caregivers.
Our Day Activities Programs have helped many Sonoma County seniors stay health, happy, and involved. Some of the activities offered include:
• gentle excercise • entertainment • arts and crafts • visits from school children • meals • guest speakers • field trips • lively discussions of current events, feelings, and other topics.
