Age divisions for teams:

50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74,

75-79, & 80+

Age divisions for individual:

50+, 60+, & 70+

 

Fees:

$50/person registration fee plus $5/per sports fee (per event).

No team fee.  

 

Teams:

must be registered online by the captain.

Captain must provide players with the team ID# so they can complete

their online registration and pay their fees.

Tournament Details & Rules

 

Overall:

We reserve the right to change the tournament format for any age

division based upon entry numbers, space restrictions and other

circumstances.

 

3 x 3

  • Modified NCAA/NSGA rules govern play

  • A team’s age division is determined by the age of the youngest player as of 12/31/23

  • All players must register individually. The Team’s ID # is required to complete registration

  • Team players must have numbered, reversible (light & dark) jerseys

  • Playing time will consist of two halves of 15 minutes of a continuously running clock with a 5-minute intermission

 

Free Throw

  • There will be three age groups: 50+, 60+, & 70+

  • Players are allowed 25 free throws within a 2-minute time frame

  • Each basket made = 1 point

  • Two practice shots are allowed, if one of those is made, athlete can start with that shot

  • Player is allowed one rebounder to assist

 

Three Point

  • There will be three age groups: 50+, 60+, & 70+

  • Players will be allowed as many shots as they can make within a one-minute time frame

  • Each basket made = 1 point 

  • Two practice shots are allowed, if one of those is made, athlete can start with that shot

  • Player is allowed one rebounder to assist

 

T-shirt:

Included with registration and available at check-in. No size

exchanges will be possible on-site.

​

Medals:

Will be awarded to the top three finishers in each division

  • Medals will not be mailed

  • Medals will not be available for pick-up at Council on Aging office

​
