8:00-8:45 am Check-In
9:00-10:30 First Game
15 min break
10:45-12:15 Second Game
Lunch break until 1:00
1:00-2:30 Final Game

Fees:
Each teammate pays their own registration fee of $45 and then a $5 sports event fee for Lawn Bowling

 

Divisions:
There are no age group divisions in the Lawn Bowling competition.

 

Registration Rules:
The tournament is open to members of any Lawn Bowls Club or any individual with proper basic knowledge of the rules of Lawn Bowls and reasonable competitive experience.

 

Format/Rules:

  • USLBA (Bowls USA) rules will govern play.

  • An umpire will be on site throughout the tournament.

  • A team consists of 3 players

  • Format: We will be playing triples with a total of 6 games. 3 games Friday and 3 games Saturday with 10 ends per game. It is important to play all 10 ends and score all ends. The top 6 teams will play for the Gold and Silver medals and the remaining teams will play for Bronze and 4th place. 

  • The bracket your placed in on Saturday is determined by your total number of wins and total points scored in Friday's 3 games. You will get 1 win by winning, if the game is tied, one more end to break the tie. 

  • We will redraw the new team numbers at the end of Friday's games.

  • If your bowl hits the plinth and stays in play, the bowl will remain alive. There are some spots on the green where the plinth is higher that the grass.

  • Please communicate through hand signals versus yelling back and forth.

  • We will have two practice ends if the teams agree to do so.

  • We will be replaying burnt ends, you will replace the jack at the 2 meter mark.

  • We will have a spider on Friday and also on Saturday morning.

  • When the teams are ready to start their second or third games, you do not need to wait for everyone to begin. 

  • Preferred dress is whites or cream and shall conform to USLBA (Bowls USA) dress codes.

  • Smooth-soled, heel-less shoes are required (any color).

 

Medals:
Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be awarded to the overall winners.
